 1. Planning

 3. Controlling

Concrete has many mechanical, chemical and physical demands placed upon it. It is constantly under attack from environmental influences. Through the absorption of CO2, its alkaline nature is lost and the reinforcing steel rusts. KIEL proves the concrete quality after removing oil, grease, dust or other items with preparation machinery.

 

 KIEL - Surface preparation: an undisputable must
 

Surface preparation is often a judgment call based upon the location, condition and history of the existing concrete. Perhaps the surface needing the least preparation is the typical cement sidewalk outside your house that has been 'weathered' for several years and has never been oil stained, painted, etc. The existing factory or work floor is the floor that should cause you the most concern. Waxes, oils, greases, sealers, spills, dissolved salts, are all possible problems awaiting discovery.
